Assistant Accounts Payable Manager

Classification: Full Time Compensation: Pay up to $65000 per year Publicly traded company located in South San Francisco is looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor.Responsibilities include:
• Supervise and train clerical staff of five and one analyst.• Supervise, review and prepare month-end reports.
• Review AP sub-ledger to General Ledger reconciliation for five subsidiaries, Trade and Expense, two currencies.
• Insure AP department meets SOX compliance standards.
• Liaison between AP and General Accounting, Treasury and other departments as required.
• Provide accounts payable support to 25 divisions
• Work with IT on process and reporting improvements in mainframe environment.• Resolve vendor disputes and discrepancies.
• Manage Agings, AP Debit balances, AP Clearing and related AP accounts.
• Monitor AP sub-ledger integrity.
