Large Group Assistant Account Manager

Group Life/Health Insurance Broker based in Hunt Valley is seeking a Large Group Assistant Account Manager who is responsible for working with the
Account Managers to meet the service needs of all existing and new large group accounts (51+ employees) that have purchased coverage through our firm. Following implementation of the group, the Assistant AM will develop and maintain the ongoing relationship with key account contacts, members, insurance carriers and/or Third Party Administrators so as to ensure each enrollees’ ability to understand and utilize their insurance benefits.
This is predominantly a telephonic customer service role. The Assistant AM is a representative of our firm who demonstrates professionalism and a commitment to the company mission and values. REQUIREMENTS


Our new assistant account manager will possess the following:
Excellent communication skills, ability to articulate technical information in lay terms and good listening skillsAbility to successfully and creatively problem solve and negotiate solutionsAbility to organize, manage multiple demands and prioritize is essentialAt least one year in a customer service positionProficiency in Windows, Word and ExcelMHLIC within one year of service is suggested but not required

This is predominantly a telephonic and administrative position and requires little direct client contact or travel.
