Asset Manager

Asset Manager This position manages the process of selling foreclosed properties across a diverse geographic area.Primary Responsibilities Include:

Researching current market values and understanding the microeconomic trends that drive them.

Analyzing specific property data and formulating initial Marketing Action Plan (MAP) that results in the highest return to Countrywide Financial Corporation (CFC) and/or its investor.

Conducting reviews of each asset within assigned portfolio for scheduled MAP adjustments (price reductions, repair completion, repair strategy re-evaluation, etc.).

Overseeing complex negotiations and entering into contractual agreements with vendors, brokers/agents, buyers, governmental entities, and HOAs.

Monitoring broker/agent performance to CFC time frames standards in the completion of required marketing items.

Providing feedback to management on broker/agent performance.The successful candidate will have:

High school diploma, GED or equivalent.

2-3 years experience in real estate, working for a broker or financial institution.

3+ years in REO sales.

Experience in evaluating repair bids.

Knowledge of residential real estate transactions, from property listing through closing.

Ability to manage a portfolio and the external brokers assigned to sell the properties.

Ability to participate as a member of the team.

Good comprehension, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.

Self-motivated, detail oriented, highly organized and able to multitask.

Computer literacy with skills in Lotus Notes, Word, Excel.The ideal candidate may also possess:

College degree in Business or Real Estate.
