Responsible for:
Maintaining compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, (SOX) Section 404 in accordance with department, regulatory and professional standards for Ball Corporate and Packaging divisions, under the direction of the department manager; understanding compliance matters concerning technical guidance and internal controls; working closely with Internal Audit and communicating with other Ball entities; assisting in updating the Financial Reporting Controls Manual; performing and/or coordinating the end-of-year roll forward of controls; assisting in the preparation of training materials that increase financial control literacy; and other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
•Broad training in accounting acquired through college level education.
•Job related experience in public accounting or internal audit for 3 years minimum, with increasing levels of responsibility.
•Certified Public Accountant preferred.
•Working knowledge of the following areas:
oInternal controls over financial reporting
oGenerally accepted accounting principles and financial statement assertions
oSarbanes Oxley Section 404 requirements
•Ability to apply intensive and diversified evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard audit techniques, procedures and criteria.
