Analyst, International Financial Planning

This analyst will be responsible for collecting, consolidating and analyzing weekly sales and quarterly forecast data received from each of YRI’s business units and managing a Hyperion application storing this information. In addition, this person will prepare analyses of YRI’s period financial results and quarterly forecast rollups.

Analysis of financial performance for division with over $10 billion in annual system-wide sales and over $400 million in annual profits. Position will interact with field finance teams representing 20 business units and over 11,000 stores worldwide.

Financial Analysis

Analyze YRI and market financial performance, providing explanations for changes in performance relative to forecast and prior year
Aggregate forecast data from field units to create quarterly updates of YRI’s financial performance
Interact with field finance team members to understand drivers of business performance and validate submissions of forecast and actual results
Present analyses to members of the YRI Senior Management Team
Provide background detail for various ad-hoc requests and presentations to YUM

Same Store Sales Reporting

Collect, consolidate and analyze market submissions of weekly same store sales data.
Prepare YRI Weekly SSS report summarizing weekly sales performance in each country for distribution to senior management team.
Work with markets to ensure data accuracy and to understand the trends and promotions that are driving business results.
Manage a Hyperion application which stores all of the weekly information by market.
Develop the YRI full year SSS forecasts each quarter by BMU and consolidated YRI
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree
EXPERIENCE (and other qualifications): three to five years in Finance or Accounting with a demonstrated record of success. MBA a plus. Excellent oral and written communications skills. Advanced computer skills (Hyperion a plus). Strong analytic and interpersonal skills. An energetic self-starter.
