Description:
As an Analyst in the Global Payments service, you will help define and grow the practice by developing compelling research on business trends and the deployment of technology in the payments arena. You will contribute insight and thought leadership on industry issues and trends and will conduct research, communicating your analysis and business strategy advice in written reports, oral presentations, and interactions with clients.

Responsibilities:
•Conduct research and write TowerGroup Research Notes and Viewpoints, and presentations that communicate your analysis and strategic advice on key payments issues
•Assist TowerGroup Sales in proactive support of new business development and help satisfy Global Payment revenue goals
•Fulfill high-quality customer service objectives to ensure client satisfaction and service growth, interacting with senior client executives to provide subject matter expertise and advisory guidance
•Deliver presentations at industry conferences, client events, and other venues and represent TowerGroup Global Payments thought leadership to the media

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
•8 to 10 years of experience in retail banking with either product management or operations expertise
•Knowledge of retail payments products, including checks, online payments, and person-to-person payments; understanding of technology platforms and back-office processing preferred
•Understanding of fraud, risk management, and payments security are highly desirable
•Demonstrated strategic understanding of the payments business and the role technology plays in executing successful strategies
•Analytical approach to problem solving and ability to present analysis clearly and concisely
•Outstanding written, and oral communication skills
•Self-starter and strong team player
•BA/BS required; MBA preferred
•Experience with top tier institution or provider desirable
