Assist Division/Plants in completing Owens Corning (OC) closing requirements through timely review and analyses of financial data. Participate in balance sheet reviews, will be responsible for understanding individual sections of divisional balance sheets. Consult with various business units to provide understanding of accounting system and to assist in troubleshooting system problems. Be an advisor to plants and division on accounting and finance issues and processes.Specific Skills/Competencies: Understand OC Accounting Practices/Procedures, US GAAP knowledge and understanding, Comprehensive knowledge of system Financial Modules. Must be a team player and exhibit leadership skills. Ability to analyze plant financial data and determine resolution of issues identified. Must be supportive of change and be a leader in creating positive change. Must have good fact finding, interpersonal, and communication skills. Organizational sensitivity in dealing with all customers.Additional Requirements
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience is required, manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
Accountant level determined based on experience and education
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is required
