Administrative Assistant (Tax) – Full-Time position, CPA Firm

We are a California-based certified public accounting and business advisory firm. Our 130-person firm, with four offices in California (San Francisco, Walnut Creek, Los Angeles, Irvine), serves public and privately held clients throughout the United States and internationally. We currently rank as one of the top public accounting firms in the region.

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant (Tax) for our San Francisco office. Ideal candidate will be a team-player with minimum of 5 years of tax and office administration experience, computer literate (Word, Excel), and able to operate office equipment. Duties include assisting partners, maintaining tax control logs and calendars, assembling tax returns, preparing billings, maintaining files and answering phones.

REQUIREMENTS
Job Qualifications: Familiarity with tax return processing, assembly and filing requirements, maintenance of tax calendaring systems, strong verbal & written communication skills including business English (usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation), ability to answer multi-line phone and proper telephone techniques, basic understanding of billings, strong organizational skills a must.
