Activity Based Costing - Senior Financial Analyst

Job Description:This position will act as the primary liaison for ABC/M projects between the ABC/M team and the operation division’s finance team at both HQ and in field operation centers. This position collaborates with the ABC/M strategy and technical analysts in order to test and execute new ABC/M initiatives. In addition, this position will be responsible for the periodic review and validation of ABC data that is being disseminated to internal customers and will be responsible for division-wide reporting.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Development of analytical tools to be used during the monthly statistical gathering and reporting periods which will track common statistical correlations and identify variances. This includes collaborating with the division’s reporting analysts to identify the impact of statistical changes on unit cost.
Responsible for developing and executing auditing methodology to regularly review functional unit cost reports.
Coordinate the monthly reporting responsibilities for the operations division and other business partners. This includes company-wide cost reporting as well as update reporting requirements for the Project Management Office and the Business Efficiency Office.
Coordinate several special project initiatives including fixed/variable analysis and methodology, data gathering for benchmark studies, development of ABC/M data dictionary and redevelopment of ABC variance process.
Establish a methodology for documenting functional activity and source documentation. This also includes establishing and maintaining documentation policies for HQ and field ABC/M processes.
Responsible for the on-going development and presentation of the ABC/M training initiative applicable to new employees, continued learning about ABC/M policies and initiatives and internal customer training.
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of two (2) to four (4) years working experience with ABC/M, preferably in a call center environment or in the financial services industry.
College degree in Finance, Statistics, Business Administration, Operations Research or other applicable degree.
Highly sophisticated and technical analysis is required for testing concepts and/or theories for solving problems and/or making decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required, including the ability to effectively influence and manage relationships. Frequent interaction with senior management.
Ability to work well with minimal direction.
Extensive project management skillsAdvanced user knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Access and PowerPoint)DESIRED SKILLS:

PMPWorking knowledge/experience with an allocation and unit cost reporting system including SAS ABM, Oracle ABM 11i, Oracle Discoverer, ALG, etc.
