Job Responsibilities:
Summary Description:To provide clerical and administrative support to the functional Accounting departments. Under direct supervision, perform a variety of accounting clerical and administrative tasks in support of the accounting department.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions:
1.Under minimal supervision, performs a variety of administrative and/or analytical activities in support of the Accounting Department management and staff.2.Communicates with various departments in matters related to assigned tasks.3.Researches various documents and reports that support the activities of assigned areas.4.Provide full administrative support through efficient management of meetings, travel coordination and full range of correspondence.5.Acts as liaison between Accounting management and various departments that have input to accounting files and reports, to deal with specific problems and issues.6.Provides input to Accounting management on improvements to existing processes, automated or manual, to improve quality and accuracy and/or reduce cost.7.Provides support to Accounting management on annual activities, i.e., physical inventory, auditors, special requests, etc.
