Accounts Receivable Cash Application Specialist

Local HVAC division of a Fortune 1000 company seeking an experienced accounting clerk to handle the posting of accounts receivable payments. This is a FULL time position Five days a week.
Responsibilities
•Handle on a daily basis the heavy volume of entering, posting, reconciling and balancing of customer payments batches on account. Posting must be done timely upon receipt and accurately.•Work closely with the Credit Managers to resolve payment disputes.

5.Strong written and oral communication skills
6.Strong computer skills, AS400 experience helpful
7•Previous accounting experience in posting customer payments on account in a heavy volume working environment.8•Competence in Windows XP operating system, Excel, Word and Outlook.9•Strong customer service and organizational skills.10•Excellent ten key skills
11•Must be detail orientated and able to identify errors or discrepancies
