Accounts Payable Specialist w/Degree

Purpose:
Our client is presently seeking a qualified Accounts Payable Specialist to join their growing team. This individual would be responsible for the daily accounts payable duties such as matching, batching, and reconciling.

Other responsibilities include verifying shipping amounts, entering invoice information into the company system, managing all AP related calls, handling all AP reports, and filing reports/invoices.

In order to be qualified for this position the ideal candidate MUST have a complete understanding of Accounts Receivable process and billing, have a familiarity with accounting programs and systems, with a degree and a number of years within AP/AR.

This position is scheduled for contract to hire and is the ideal position for those looking to advance in the future within an accounting department, eventually to become the Staff Accountant there or head of the department. Contact via email preferred.
