Accounts Payable Representative

A growing real estate company seeks a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Payable Representative to join its Houston, Texas team. The successful candidate will input all accounts payable transactions for home builder. This person will also review coding of invoices from field offices for accuracy.

Key responsibilities include:

Code overhead invoices and route invoices for approval.

Set-up and maintain vendor files, including paid invoices.

Track and update vendor insurance.

Process and maintain TWCC workers compensation forms.

Maintain vendor contract files and investigate vendor issues.

Prepare cash requirements report for payment selection.

Print checks and match with vendor invoices.

Prepare annual 1099's.

Other tasks as maybe assigned.


Prior experience with Timberline Accounting software helpful.

Home Builder experience is a plus.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
