Accounts Payable Position

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST

Medium sized, property management company located in Grapevine is looking for a hard working, efficient person to be a part of our team. The company is growing rapidly, having more than doubled in size in the last twelve months. We anticipate doubling in size again over the next year.

The candidate will have 2+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in the multi family, property management industry. You must have the ability to process a high volume of invoices and have superior multitasking skills. It is preferred that candidates have experience working directly with property managers. (The property managers actually enter most of the invoices into the A/P system.) The right person will be detail oriented and dependable in punctuality and attendance. The successful candidate will be a personable, energetic, self-motivated team player with excellent communication and analytical skills. Experience with AMSI and/or MRI software is a plus.
REQUIREMENTS


Duties will include:
Processing all accounts payable for the assigned properties.
Maintaining accounts payable files and records.
Verifiying and processing invoices, check requests and expense reports.
Matching check copies to invoices.
Setting up and maintaining vendor information and verifying W9/1099 information.
Filing invoices and accounting data.
Resolving invoice and payment discrepancies.
Reconciling vendor statements.
Helping prepare monthly reporting packages.
Ordering and maintaining office supply inventory.
Assisting with special projects and other duties as assigned.
