Regency Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, a Harborside Healthcare affiliate and a leader in rehabilitative and long-term healthcare, has immediate opening for a responsible, compassionate, team-oriented Nurses to join our community of care to elders. We currently have opportunities at our Regency facility, located in Louisville, KY.

We have openings for Baylor RN and LPN nurses and a RN Second Shift House Supervisor.

Harborside Healthcare owns and operates 50+ facilities located throughout the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions of the United States.

Responsibilities may included but are not limited to: In this role you supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility in accordance with current federal, state and local standards governing the facility, and as may be directed by the Director of Nursing Services or Assistant Director of Nursing Services, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. Other responsibilities include participating in surveys and inspections by government agencies; making daily rounds and reporting findings to DON to insure that all nursing service personnel are performing duties in accordance with acceptable nursing standards; admitting, transferring, and discharging residents as necessary; preparing and administering medications as ordered by the physician.
REQUIREMENTS


* Must be a Registered Nurse (or LPN where applicable) in good standing and currently licensed by the state.* Completion of secondary education or otherwise show ability to read and write in a legible and understandable manner
* Must speak and understand English
* Previous supervisory experience or completion of appropriate training program
* Positive attitude toward the elderly.

The position reports directly to the Unit Manager.
