Accounts Payable Assoicate

We are assisting our client in the Westchase are who are looking for an Accounts Payable Associate who has 5+ years of A/P experience within the Oil & Gas industry.

Direct Hire position.
REQUIREMENTS
•Accounts Payable experience 5 + years, in the oil and gas industry.
•Prepare vendor invoices for processing. This includes coding and keypunching of invoices.
•Monitor the Accounts Payable process to ensure invoices are being routed and approved in a timely manner.
•Liaison between operations and accounting; ensure that vendor and operation inquiries are addressed in a timely manner.
•Assist with vendor inquiries regarding late payments, etc.
•Assist with accounts payable check runs, including coding adjustments.
•Special projects as assigned.
•Research various payable issues.
•Experience with the Excalibur accounts payable module a plus.
•Ability to handle and work well with a variety of personality types.
•Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
•Ability to work overtime.
•Punctual (work hours) and ability to meet deadlines.
•Flexible attitude to take on job duties outside primary responsibilities.

Must have experience within Oil & Gas industry (5+ years)
