Accounting Supervisor

Large, growing, privately-held, well-known organization based in Northern Virginia is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to provide direction to the professional and clerical accounting staff in performance of routine and ad hoc processes to timely, accurately and efficiently record financial data.

Pay range is $40,000 - $50,000 with a full benefits package.

REQUIREMENTS
Key requirements / wants include:

•Strong general ledger working knowledge in a multi-entity, multi-unit environment.
•Ability to lead both professional and clerical associates in a high volume, deadline-critical, and highly process-driven environment.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Must have 3 years of G/L processing experience.
•Must be able to motivate plan, coordinate, and direct the work of subordinates in a diverse workforce.
•Knowledge of systems and system interfaces.
•Must possess strong organizational skills.
