Accounting Operations Supervisor (00362)

Job Responsibilities:
Supervises support staff in the Customer Services unit by interviewing, recommending for hire, training, assisting, and reviewing work and evaluating performance.
Reviews and signs off on restitution and refund checks processed by staff and forwards to Director.
Assists with the Accounting Operations Coordinator duties in their absence.
Assists with ensuring the day-to-day operations flow smoothly in the Customer Services unit.
Trains staff on new processes and procedures related to the Customer Services section.
Provides customer service support to all field offices and court customers.
Directs the data entry process for converting field offices to the Court View system. Addresses all questions and issues that may arise.
Generates End of Period Customer reports through the Court View System and produces spread sheets and various reports as needed.
Dismisses cases in the Court View System as necessary during field office conversion.
Analyzes data and creates spreadsheets for collection information as requested for special projects.
Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
The formal education equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree, plus one year of experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity;
Excellent knowledge of accounts receivables;
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills;
Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment;
Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously; and
Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently.
