Accounting Operations Process Lead

Accountable to drive accounting and reporting process improvements in plant non-manufacturing areas (includes property, maintenance, stores, utilities, services, and guest contract billings). Improve financial integrity by ensuring right-first-time data via finding root cause of inaccuracies and resolving them at the source. Lead Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 compliance for Nylon manufacturing sites - liaison between Corporate SOx coordinator and Nylon Finance organization - drive efficiency, effectiveness, and consistency. Steward for balance sheet reconciliation process at the manufacturing sites - maintaining the master list, ensuring the reconciliations are completed on a timely manner, and ensuring the reconciliations are effective.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Skills/Qualifications: Strong communication, coaching and team skills. Demonstrated Leadership and analytical skills. Strong Accounting skills Strong PC skills and ERP aptitude. Self motivated and Proactive. BS in Accounting/Finance with 7+ years progressive experience in financial accounting and analysis.
Desired Skills/Qualifications: Anticipates and identifies issues and needs. Consistent in meeting customer requests. Understanding of Manufacturing Processes Auditing experience. Working Knowledge of SAP - A plus. MBA/CPA/CMA - A plus.
