Accounting Manager Salisbury MD

I am a head hunter. I am looking for an accounting manager for a manufacturing company that I work with in Salisbury. This position has a midrange of 50k, with health, vacation, etc...

Accounting Manager

Duties:
1. Accounts Receivable
--Assist in and/or oversee generation of sales invoices
--Monitor Accounts Receivable invoices for collection

2. Accounts Payable
--Oversee or obtain authorization on purchase orders for any purchases
--Receive and relate the supplier invoices to P.O. and the material received
--Enter the supplier invoices to Purchase Journal and prepare payable statements
--Prepare checks for due payables
--Prepare a statement of Accruals on a monthly basis for material received but invoices not received

3. Payroll
--Process payroll with ADP on a bi-weekly basis
--Enter journal entries regarding the payroll on a bi-weekly basis
--Prepare monthly accrual statements and analysis on payroll variance for the monthly statements

4. General Accounts
--Monitor the bank account on a daily basis
--Prepare monthly scheduled payments
--Prepare financial reports using Southware accounting software
--Monitor General Ledger accounts and make necessary journal entries

REQUIREMENTS:
--Certificate and/or degree in Accounting
--5 years experience in Accounting Field
--2 years direct experience in above duties
--Hands-on experience with payroll processing software (e.g. ADP) and Accounting software (e.g. Southware)
--Proficient in MS Word and Excel
--Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment
--Work well under pressure
--Able to solve problems independently
