Accounting Manager (SC)

Direct Hire, $60k to $75K, Accounting Manager/Supervisor, Cross South Carolina, Construction, BS in Accounting, 3yrs Supervisory experience, JD Edwards Software experience is a PLUS!!! This position will relocate at the end of the construction project to a new project city, a great way to travel.
Duties:1.Responsible for the integrity of the accounting ledgersBalancing ledgersAccounting and operational reports reflect the accounting information requiredApprovals on all accounting / payroll documents are within corporate guidelinesReconciliation of bank and clearing accounts are within corporate guidelinesMaintain corporate standards for check signing, check storage and accounting document storageInternal audit requirements; i.e.- random check distributionCompanys legal requirements with respect to the registration and filing of sales, use payroll and miscellaneous jurisdictional taxes are identified and maintainedSpecial costing requirements for particular projects are identified, set up and maintained2.Responsible for leadership, supervision, hiring and training of accounting staff.3.Responsible for maximizing the cash position of the District while maintaining payment terms in accordance with contract terms and company guidelinesReceivable invoices to owners in accordance with contract requirementsCollections within contract termsPayments to employees, subs, suppliers, etc. in accordance with legal requirements, contract terms and corporate guidelines.4.Responsible for the administration of subcontractor insurance, bonding and lien waiver requirements.5.Responsible for assembling information for internal financial reporting requirements.6.Responsible for liaison and assistance to operational personnel as it relates to the accounting functions and reports.Sizzle: We offer exceptional benefits including health, dental, 401(k) and section 125 plans, STD, LTD, Life insurance, bonus compensation, 3 weeks paid vacation and much more!
