Accounting Manager, Fortune 500 Manufacturer, Audit Background
Fortune 500 manufacturer in Nortwest Suburbs seeks up and coming Accounting Manager for a highly visible position, reporting to the CFO.
Audit background, preferably out of big 4 public arena.
This position will vary in scope and will cover the following areas in order of importance.
Month End: Will be responsible for directing and performing the close, which is currently a 4 day process.
Tax Provision: Net income analysis for the entity, and also compliance in the following areas:
1) Sales and Use
2) Property Tax
3) Federal Income
Financial Reporting: Analysis and financial review of consolidated financial statements, accruels, and consolidations using Outlook Soft. Intercompany financial reporting for 5 differnt entities including foriegn subs. This division will be responsible for taking financials and converting them from GAAP standards to international reporting standards.
This position will have 5 direct reports, and 3 indirect reports.
The GL is tied out in Oracle and SAP. Reporting is done in Outlook Soft and international reporting is congruent with international reporting standards threw IFRS.
REQUIREMENTS
CPA, MBA preferred.
