Accounting Manager - Financial Reporting

Gulf South Pipeline Company, LP is seeking an Accounting Manager for our Houston office to be responsible for managing the Financial Reporting function, including supervision of staff. This includes closing both GAAP and FERC books and associated reporting including Form 2, stand along financials and providing data for consolidations to parent company. This position will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures, and will participate in the preparation of 10-K's and 10-Q's for our parent company.

Qualified candidates will have an Accounting degree, experience with SEC Accounting, management/supervisory experience, strong analytical and problem solving skills, and excellent communication skills. This individual should be an independent thinker with the ability to deal with complex, abstract subjects, who understands the importance of controls, demonstrates strong leadership skills and posesses an outgoing and inquisitive nature in order to engage Management. Experience with FERC reporting, CPA designation, and/or Natural Gas Pipeline industry experience are preferred but not required.
