Accounting Manager / Finance Manager

Accounting Manager / Finance Manager Healstone Investment Real Estate and Property Management, is seeking a Accounting Manager / Finance Manager to aggressively manage all aspects of our growing business. Managing the finance department
maintaining subsidiary accounts and journal entries
Preparing reports and graphs
Recieving rent payments
Preparing month end reports for our clients
Responsible for all payables
maintaining system codes
verifying and preparing transactions
reconciling transactions
resolving discrepancies
Preparing monthly variance reports
REQUIREMENTS


Qualifications:

• Has superior organizational skills. Keeps files and work area organized. Maintains a comprehensive library of reference and historical data.

• Can be trusted to handle extremely confidential and sensitive information, including cash, checks and money orders.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

• Articulates ideas clearly and concisely in a variety of settings, adjusting the message to match the audience.

• Proficiency in using Excel, Yardi, Remanage or other applicable accounting and financial software to record or analyze financial information.

• Is team-oriented and works collaboratively to achieve team goals.

• Exhibits attention to detail. Is committed to producing accurate and high-quality work.

• Makes effective use of database, spreadsheet, and word-processing software to prepare statistical and written reports for management.

• Competently analyzes and prioritizes information to make appropriate recommendations. • 3+ years work in fee based property management

About Healstone:

Healstone Real Estate Investment and Property Management has offices in Irvine,Long Beach & Hollywood CA. The person we are looking for would need to work out of the Long Beach location. What makes Healstone Property Management successful is our dedication to our employees, our residents, and our investors. Last year we sold apartment buildings (investment real estate) in excess of $160M, we currently manage over 2,000 apartment units. We need a staff accountant, to manage the financial side of our businesses. The ideal person is someone who has worked junior to someone else for the last 3 or 4 years and now wants to grow with our company. Yardi software experience is pretty important, not a mandatory, but if you've never heard of the software ... you should probably look elsewhere for employment.
