Accounting Manager - Cost Accountant

****Note: Must be willing to relocate to E TX****

The accounting manager will be expected to assist with all physical inventories and assist in annual budget preparation. Other responsibilities will include maintaining standards, reviewing job cost, and assisting with general accounting. The cost accountant will also be expected to reconcile inventory monthly and process job closure requests. Finally the position will handle DCAA audits and cost preparation reports on a yearly basis
REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelors Degree in Accounting
* Five plus years of experience in cost accounting and general ledger accounting
* Ability to assist program managers with DCAA audits and cost preparation
* Strong spreadsheet background and knowledge of the AS400 MRP system
* Must understand the principles of inventory accounting
* Must have experience w/government Rate Submission & Incurred Cost Submission
* Experience and knowledge of government regulations such as FAR/DFAR/CAS is REQUIRED
* Experience working as DCAA Auditor could replace cost accounting experience
* FULL RELOCATION FROM ANYWHERE IN THE COUNTRY IS BEING OFFERED
