Accounting Manager/Controller

Manage accounting operations for an underground utilities construction company with multiple offices. Administer subcontracts, subcontractor pay requests, and bond or lien waivers. Require purchase order compliance and communicate with vendors to investigate and correct invoice errors and inconsistencies. Insure timely and accurate billing for work completed. Monitor receivables and assist in collections. Maintain job cost budgets and change orders. Interact with all levels of field and office management during all phases of construction. Serve as information resource in support of operation management.




job Requirements


Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. 5+ years experience in construction or related industry. Strong organization, communication and computer skills ( Word & Excel) are required. Self motivated & detail oriented. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment. Some travel may be required.
