GENCO/Capital Returns has an immediate opening for a Controller in our corporate office, located in Milwaukee WI.
GENCO has an immediate opening for an Accounting Manager with our Capital Returns division. The Accounting Manager will manage the day to day accounting responsibilities for the division, with emphasis on revenue accounting functions including billing, sales reporting, accounts receivable and past due collections, work in progress accrual, revenue trend analysis and customer service support.
The Accounting Manager is responsible for:Assisting in maintaining a reconciled general ledger for the company
Supervising office staff and month end close process
Supervising accounts payable and receivable functions
Assisting in the planning, hiring and training of new accounting teammembers
Assisting in developing forecasts and operating budgets
Following and administering company policies and procedures
Preparing for and assisting auditors, as needed
Serving as a resource for special projects resource
Serving in support and backup for Director of Accounting, as needed
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have:4 year degree in Accounting or related required
3+ years experience with GL account reconciliations and month end close, journal entries, preparation of profit and loss statements, customer billing and sales reporting, and budget variance analysis
Prior management experience necessary
Experience with Oracle financial software, Access database and proficiency with Excel spreadsheets
Customer service skills and experience required
