ACCOUNTING / FINANCIAL ANALYST

Binghamton University has an immediate opening for an Accounting/Financial Analyst.

Responsibilities

Developing and monitoring reports of actual expenditures versus budget; assessment of departmental budgets; accounting management; account reconciliation and problem resolution; policy development; routine administrative and accounting assistance for department managers; other activities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in accounting or closely related field. Strong knowledge of spreadsheet, database, and mainframe applications. Experience with Oracle Financial System a plus. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Successful candidate will also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
