Accounting Clerk/Bookkeeper

The Part-Time Accounting Clerk will provide back up and assistance to the COO, for all accounting functions. Including but not limited to AP/AR data entry, customer invoicing, job quoting, payment calculations, and account balancing. Quickbooks, Excel and proprietary database systems are used. Email and some phone contact is required. Attention to detail and work within time deadlines are a key for this position

Major Duties:
•Process client payments in QuickBooks and proprietary database
•Completing semi-monthly check runs in QuickBooks
•Calculate all job fees
•Create all customer invoices in QuickBooks
•Calculate all job quotes and quote ranges within set time deadlines by working with production and sales.
•Log job updates in proprietary database
•Create monthly employee benefit reports
•Verify accounts by reconciling statements and transactions.
•Maintain financial historical records by filing accounting documents.
•Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be skilled in account balancing and reconciliation
- Must be well organized and able to multi-task under time deadlines
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
- Must be able to work well in a team environment
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills
- A high regard and love for attention to detail
- Well organized & able to multi-task under time deadlines
- Able to take specific direction and follow tasks through to completion
- 20-30 hours per week
- Some afternoon hours required
- Must play well with others
