Accountant - Tax

Classification: Full Time Compensation: Pay up to $60,000 per year Large, rapidly expanding international law firm seeks a Tax Accountant to provide information and assistance to the partners and the partnership in connection with the distribution of income to partners and tax information to partners.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Work with firm's tax partner and manager of firm wide tax & partner accounting in connection with preparation of federal and state income tax returns for partnership.
Distribute appropriate information to partners to enable them to complete their individual income tax returns (including state tax election forms, instructional memoranda and federal and state schedule K-1's)
Research federal and state income tax filing regulations and requirements.
Assist in providing supporting documentation for firm state and local tax audits.
Compute and prepare quarterly state and local estimated tax payments.
Reconcile partner draw and other balance sheet accounts to agree with general ledger following appropriate currency translation regulations and GAAP.
Calculate equity partner daily percentage interest in profits of firm.
Generate management reports from Elite and download into Excel spreadsheets for use in analysis and supporting documentation.All those that are interested should email resumes to
