Accountant, Sr Tax

Accountant, Senior Tax Responsible for compiling information for federal, state and other tax returns and corporate tax administration duties, in addition to compiling information in support of audits by federal, state and other taxing jurisdictions. Assists in the preparation of property and sales/use tax returns. Prepares tax return workpaper details and analyses for assigned entities, prepares extensions and estimated tax payments, and assists with tax department clerical and administration work including filing, maintaining tax return compliance calendar, and certified mailing procedures.Requires an Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Business (CPA preferred), and 3+ years Accounting experience, along with 2+ years of tax experience in an accounting firm or corporate tax department. General knowledge of federal and state income tax laws is essential, as is familiarity with researching accounting records. Must have excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Various tax return preparation software).
