Tier: Manager/SME - Establishes operational objectives and work plans. Delegates assignments to SMEs, career level professionals or subordinate supervisors. OR Seasoned professional with expert knowledge of a specialty. Regarded internally and/or externally as a subject matter expert.
Major Responsibilities:
Prepare and review all financial statements, supporting documents, and filings such as Form 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, internal financial statements, and regulatory financial statements.
Assist in advising senior executives and business owners regarding new regulatory rulemaking and the financial reporting processes and researching technical accounting issues on an as needed basis
Coordination of efforts with internal and external groups to facilitate and gather information for use in filings.
Participate in due diligence with regard to mergers and acquisitions
Support financial system integration efforts, including process improvement and internal control development.

Familiarity with SEC rules and regulations
