This is a great opportunity to work with established clientele in tax and audit, with the support of the experts in a large regional firm. We have a strong and varied client base and a fun, team-oriented staff. Our North Platte practice serves mostly small and medium size businesses, governmental and non-profit clients. This position would involve extensive client contact with these small businesses. This is a growing office with great potential for advancement, including Partnership opportunities.

About the Position:
We are currently seeking individuals that have Tax, Audit or both Tax and Audit experience at the Staff to Manager level.

For Audit the responsibilities include:
* Audit, review and compilation engagements
* Financial statement preparation
* Complex audits for clients in a variety of industries
* Government and non-profit audits

For Tax the responsibilities include:
* Review and preparation of tax returns
* Tax planning
* Tax research
* Tax compliance
* Farm (agricultural) tax returns

Qualified candidates must have at least 3 years experience in public accounting, a Bachelor's degree in accounting and be a CPA or CPA candidate. Experience with government or non-profit audits are a plus. Experience with agricultural tax returns is a plus.

This opportunity is located in beautiful North Platte, Nebraska. North Platte, NE is a growing community in the heart of Nebraska (www.northplattechamber.com) North Platte has a strong school system, a regional medical center and a growing business base. Close by to several outdoor attractions, living in North Platte will provide opportunities for recreation.
