Accountant/Accounts Payable

Nystrom, Inc. is the world leading direct-to-site provider of complementary building products including roof hatches, access panels, louvers and smoke vents. Everything we do is focused on getting our customers the right products at the right time. Nystrom is currently looking for an Accountant/AP professional to join our team.

Responsibilities include general accounting functions and accounts payable functions.

Essential Functions
•Accounts payable entry, filing, and check back-up
•Process returns
•Process price adjustments
•Produce Sales Quota Report
•Produce weekly reports for various departments
•Sales tax compliance
•Verify Vendor Statements and follow through with the Vendor
•File accounts payable checks
•Maintain Vendor Accounts and payment terms
•Miscellaneous projects
•Produce 1099’s at Year End
•Invoicing

Job Qualifications
•Strong clerical skills
•Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in a related field)
•2-3 years of related experience
•Excellent typing / 10 key skills
•Computer Skills (excel, word)

Hours:
7:30am – 4:00pm
(With the flexibility to contribute additional hours based on the needs of the department and company)
