Accountant

Directly report to the accounting manager in relation to a number of client accounts.
-Communicate with managers.
-Problem Solve
-Journal entries
-Reconciliations
-Month end
-Tax: prep, sales, use
-Work with accruals
-Prepare sales, property, excise or payroll tax returns
-Financial analysis
-Prepare corporate/partnership tax returns
-Auditing experience
-Cash flow projections
-Calculate fixed assets/depreciation schedules
REQUIREMENTS
It is critical that this person have accounting experience and a good knowledge of GAAP.•General Ledger experience
•Month end and year end close•Great attention to detail and problem solving skills
•Strong technical expertise in the following: Microsoft products, SAP, QuickBooks and proprietary software
•Some financial analysis experience a huge plus
•CPA preferredIndustry experience preferred: Insurance, Construction, Manufacturing, Banking, Retail, Public Accounting
