Job Title: Account Specialist Location: South San Francisco, CA Reports to: Senior Sales Manager, New Business
BASIC FUNCTION:


Reporting to the Sr. Sales Manager of New Business, the Account Specialist will work closely with the comScore Media Metrix team to research potential new business opportunities to forge relationships with new and existing clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:Research new business opportunities through proprietary dataQualify leads with potential clientsProvide training for one-off clientsConduct product demonstrationsAssist in data reconciliationsLearn the entire sales process from lead generation through proposal writing, rate negotiation, and contract executionCompile current clients from other departments to research up-sell opportunitiesLiaison between prospect credit checks and finance department

QUALIFICATIONS:4 year college degree in communications, marketing, or business3-5 years of job experience in one or more of the following industries: Internet, Advertising Agency, Publishing, or MarketingIdeal candidate should be analytical and have an understanding of panel based consumer researchExperience working with Quantitative and Qualitative researchMust be able to work in a team environment as well as work independentlyMust be able to multi-task, handle multiple projects and meet internal and client deadlinesBackground in Sales or Account Management a plusProactive problem solving skillsStrong PC skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
