Account Manager - Minneapolis

Assurant Employee Benefits, a leader in the group insurance industry, is seeking a professional individual to work in our Minneapolis sales office located in Edina.
This individual will be responsible for meeting with brokers and policyholders to provide service and promote renewals and sales. Professional presentation skills as well as strong negotiating skills are required.



Responsibilities include:
Developing and maintaining effective internal and external relationships
Supporting the sales objectives of the office through cross-sell activities and enrollment meetings
Provide account management on a needs based consultative approach
Ability to set priorities in a high volume fast paced environment
Territory assignment may require travel to provide on-site support to customers
Production and Time Management reporting

REQUIREMENTS


Previous experience with group employee benefits, agency or sales experience and group 1 license is preferred. Assurant offers a competitive salary and an excellent benefits package. EOEM/F/D/V
