Account Executive/Sales

JOB SUMMARY:

The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for developing and maintaining contractual relationships with area hospitals, both private and government, to sell foreign recruitment placement services of nurses and therapists. The Account Executive is an external sales position that works very closely with Chief Nursing Officers, Directors of Nursing, Human Resources Directors, Administrators and Contract Administrators to define the need for nursing/therapy services and to establish a close relationship for contractual purposes. The AE acts as a consultant by anticipating the need, helping the client to define the budgetary requirements and facilitating the placement of foreign candidates to the hospital.
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS:

1.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in healthcare sales and/or professional clinical service.
2.Knowledge of hospital contracting processes as it pertains to staffing sales.
3.Knowledge of government contracting procedures in relation to staffing sales.
4.Knowledge of home healthcare industry.
5.General understanding of foreign recruitment procedures and regulations.
6.Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Strong proposal development skills a plus.
7.Ability to quickly adapt to changes in policies and/or agency processes.
8.Must be able to work independently without constant supervision.
9.Drivers license and car insurance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Develops and maintains referring relationships with private and hospital contracting sources.
2.Represents Professional Healthcare Resources at professional organizations and meetings to enhance the presence of the agency within the hospital community.
3.Works closely with hospital decision makers to help determine their staffing needs and budgetary constraints while assisting them to develop alternative budget strategies as needed.
4.Works closely with internal staff to identify appropriate candidates for submission to prospective clients.
5.Identifies government staffing Request For Proposals (RFP’s) and develops proposal responses to secure contracts.
6.Periodically follows up with clients throughout the contract service delivery process to insure that their needs have not changed and that PHRI has satisfied the staffing requirement by providing qualified, professional staff.
7.Responds promptly to all referral source requests.
8.Maintains current account profiles.
9.Submits anticipated and completed weekly schedules as directed.
10.Attends bi-weekly sales meetings and all required staff and in-service meetings.
11.Performs additional duties as assigned by administration.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The work requires light to moderate physical exertion on a regular and recurring basis such as: lifting bending, pushing, pulling stooping, kneeling, and reaching. Carrying of light to heavy items such as books, papers, files, medical/office supplies is expected to occur frequently as well as long periods of standing and sitting in the work area. This work also requires the ability to transport oneself to and from multiple work sites.
