Account Executive - Extended Care

KCI, an equal opportunity employer, is currently seeking an Account Executive to support our Extended Care Division. The primary focus will be to achieve financial and strategic goals for the assigned territory; presenting KCI products and services to assist in providing optimum patient outcomes; seeking new revenue opportunities, while maintaining existing revenue through establishment and maintenance of superior customer relationships.


** Compensation for this position will include a generous base salary, monthly commissions, and quarterly bonuses. Commissions and bonuses are based upon performance goals.


Major responsibilities for this position include the following:


· Develop relationships with key decision-makers and industry key opinion leaders

· Manage accounts by developing opportunity plans for existing and new customers

· Effective communication with physicians and customers at a VP level and above

· Coordinate and participate in conventions, showrooms, vendor fairs, in-services, etc.

· Collaborate with other care settings to provide continuity of care

· Successful completion of all designated training programs for this position

· Complete and submit required corporate and region reports/documents within designated time frames

· Will be on-call after hours, weekends, and holidays as required on a rotation basis
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum requirements for this position include the following:

· Bachelors degree required

· RN Preferred

· Two years sales or related experience in consultative or concept selling, preferably at the purchasing and clinical levels in target fields of capital equipment, medical devices, appliances and instruments

· Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written format with strong presentation skills

· Must be willing to travel by commercial air service to attend scheduled business and corporate functions when required
