AR Hub Credit Manager

Business Unit: NBC UniversalFunction: FinanceResponsibilities: Credit Inquiries and Underwriting
Perform credit evaluation and underwriting of prospective agencies/clients
Coordinate with credit reporting agencies D&B, BCCA, Local Banks to evaluate the financial stability of prospective agencies/clients
Conduct monthly aging/collections analysis of customer base to proactively mitigate against slow payment, write-offs and/or bankruptciesCollections
Daily cash application of payments and refunds
Daily Interaction with Sales, Finance, Agencies, and Clients with respect to collection of aged receivables; and enforcement of credit policies and payment terms
Responsible for collection and credit approval for designated TV Stations
Reconcile and investigate open and disputed items on client invoices
Provide cash forecast of agency/client payments for monetization and month-end closes
Provide analysis of customer aging and develop collections strategy to improve metric of Days Sales Outstanding
Knowledge of Marketron/Enterprise Accounts Receivable and PeopleSoft AR andGeneral Ledger systems~HJ~
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree and minimum of 2 years previous Credit and Collections experience or High School diploma/GED and minimum of 4 years of experience in Credit and Collections
Previous supervisory experience and the ability to meet tight deadlines needed
Excellent Excel skills requiredEligibility Requirements:

Experinece working in the Media Industry

Knowledge of PeopleSoft a plus.
Solid organizational skills
