About The Company
Well known fortune 500 financial services company
Provide further accounting expertise to the Accounting Integration team responsible for the integration of acquired companies into our general ledger. Tasks would include but not limited to:
Chart of account mappings for part of the remaining balance.
Assist with the accounting aspects of the GL interfaces that will be completed during 2006. These integrations are not simply IT related. There will be process, policy, SARBOX, and potential staffing impacts to all areas of the controllers group.
Assist with the Coordination of CORE responsibilities throughout the controller’s group.
Assist with the design and documentation of new processes that will be implemented throughout the year.
Provide additional support to operational groups during month-end close.
Allow our group to provide more thorough and timely documentation.
Provide bench strength for competing deadlines.
Ensure that all project documentation is up-to-date and complete.
Assist other team members as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Accounting with 3-5 yrs experience, CPA preferred.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, collaborative skills.
Must be able work with cross-functional areas who may have competing interests.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Peoplesoft, MS project, and accounting system conversions preferred.
Compensation:
Commensurate with experience
