ACCOUNTING SERVICES MANAGER

Louisiana Tech University is seeking a highly
skilled and motivated individual for the Office
of the Comptroller. The position requires a
bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
and a CPA certificate. The university desires
a candidate with 2 to 4 years experience in
public, private, or governmental accounting.
Applicant must have knowledge of generally
accepted accounting standards and
have the ability to implement these standards
as part of the University's annual financial
reporting. Additionally, applicant must be able
to assimilate and orgaize complex accounting
tasks, meet dealines, work independently and
prioritize work projects. Good interpersonal
skills are needed along with the ability to
communicate effectively both verbally and in
writing and to work as a member of team.
The job requires a good working knowledge of
Microsoft EXCEL and WORD and computerized
accounting systems. The applicant must have
the skill to attend to detail and maintain accuracy
in working with complex quantitive information.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications.
