ACCOUNTING - Oil & Gas Production Accountant

In relation to Vintage Production California, perform production accounting functions including processing Crude Run Tickets, Gas Meter volumes, well tests, well statuses, and allocate production volumes to the lease/well level. Create/submit Production Reports to the State of California Department of Oil and Gas. Maintain the property master for wells.

REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications:
1. Bachelors degree in accounting with APA or CPA or willingness to pursue APA or CPA.
2. 2 + years accounting experience.
3. Aggressive self starter with a high degree of initiative and strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
4. High proficiency in the use of personal computers, including MS Office.
5. Innovative and results-oriented.
6. Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet short-term deadlines.
7. Positive interpersonal skills with ability to work with a variety of people in a team environment.
8. Flexibility to work overtime as required.
9. Strong communication skills.

Additional Desired Qualifications:
1. 2+ years oil and gas accounting experience.
2. Knowledge of TOW.
