Lehigh North has an opening for the position of Staff Accountant at our Headquarters in Allentown, PA.SUMMARY
Lehigh North has an opening for a staff accountant. This position reports to the Region Controller and will be involved in all aspects of the accounting responsibilities for the Region operations.RESPONSIBILITIES
Participates in the general accounting functions of the Division, including the consolidation and preparation of internal and external reporting.
Prepares monthly analysis of general ledger accounts.
Assists in fixed asset accounting and capital expenditure processing.
Administers approved accounting practices to ensure that financial and operating reports accurately represent the operation of the business and provide reliable information necessary to manage operations.
Participate in the development of annual operating plans and periodic forecasts.
Conduct special accounting studies and analysis in support of Division operations.
Monitors the operating performance of Division operations and provides Division management with analysis of operations.
REQUIREMENTS
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
BS or BA in Finance or Accounting
Proficiency in computer applications
Expertise using SAP is desired
A high level of competence in written and verbal communications
