A/R Accountant/Lease Administrator (Growth potential!)

What would you be doing?In this challenging role, you would oversee accounts receivable accounting and lease administration activities for a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring that all cash has been recorded for each day. A typical day in this position would include:Calling up reports on tenant rental information and entering it into the Commercial Management Module for each tenant’s accountApplying the money paid and performing cash check upsBilling reconciliations and resolving discrepancies related to tenant paymentsWalking the Property Manager through questions on outstanding balancesCreating guidelines for lease administration and entering these into the systemGenerating rental statementsPreparing the month-end close packages for final review and approval by the ControllerClosing out all monthly billings submitted to the GL AccountantWhat’s so great about this job, anyway?

REQUIREMENTS
What kind of candidate are we looking for?Accounts receivable or accounting experience is required, including a working knowledge of basic accounting principles. Commercial real estate experience is preferred, as is general ledger accounting experience. Computer proficiency is essential.
