A/P Supervisor

This is a direct hire opportunity paying $45-60K based on experience.

• Supervise the day to day operations in the A/P department
• Providing support to process improvement initiatives
• Meet with the suppliers, purchasing and other departments as needed for resolution of issues
• Reconciliation and analysis to general ledger accounts and management reporting as required
• Adhere to policies and procedures of the company and assist with responding to requests from internal and external auditors.
• Monthly Close including account reconciliations and reporting as required.
• Weekly check runs and wires
• Banking activities including voids, stop payments, and research
• Oversee processing of employee expense reimbursements
• Process 1099s
• Analyze data and prepares schedules as required
• Supervises staff of 5, including personnel issues, development, assigning and directing workflow
• Ad hoc reporting
• Special projects
REQUIREMENTS
Experience/Education Requirements:
• Bachelors degree preferred
• 5+ years experience in accounts payable processing
• 2+ years supervisory experience
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Solid Excel experience
• Team oriented person who can focus on the details
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and willingness to learn new skills
• Proven mentoring/coaching skills
