Job Description:

Are you a .NET developer who enjoys traveling and providing solutions for different client environments and varying engagements? If so then this position may be something that might catch your eye. Our client is seeking Senior .NET Consultants for their middle market commercial services group. As a Senior consultant you will participate and have an active role in the following responsibilities:

* Participate in pre-sales activities to develop client demos, project estimates, and proposals
* Identify and build relationships with key decision makers and have a high degree of contact with clients
* Gathering user requirements, provide business analysis, system analysis, and create an iterative design
* Own the design, development and deployment of .NET based web and smart client applications
* Develop windows workflow foundation applications
* Provide support during customer acceptance testing and fine tune the solution while identifying new areas where our client can provide support.

This is a unique opportunity that will allow you to refine and develop your existing client facing experience and develop applications using the latest technologies such as SharePoint, Biztalk, VSTO, Windows Workflow Foundation and other cutting edge technologies.

As stated above this is a traveling position and at times may require up to 80% travel. During a travel week you would only be required to work a 4 day work week. This is a challenging position with a huge potential for growth and lots of opportunity to advance in your career as a consultant.

REQUIREMENTS
Key Experience Needed to Succeed :

* 3+ years of experience developing business solutions using the .NET framework.
* Experience in business consulting, project management, project definition, estimating proposal writing, and planning skills for engagements.
* SQL Server experience - hands on architecture and design of database schema with an ability to create stored procedures and optimized sql query statements.
* Experience designing infrastructure architecture, delivering an implementation and configuration.
* Desire to work with and implement new technologies such as: SharePoint, Infopath, K2, Biztalk, VSTO and Windows Workflow foundation

Nice to have :

* Microsoft Certifications - progress towards or completion of desired
