White Cap Construction Supply Inc. is a leading distributor of specialty hardware, tools and materials targeting large- and medium-sized construction contractors. With over 125 branches nationwide and 500 sales representatives, White Cap stocks a wide array of more than 65,000 products, including brand name construction materials, hand tools, fasteners, safety equipment, power tools and equipment, work wear, concrete forms and supplies, and landscape lighting
Position Purpose
Initiates processing of incoming credit applications and assembles required documentation. Maintains credit application files.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Assembles required documentation to include responses from provided references, credit reports, property information.
Provides results to Credit Managers or Credit Admin Managers as required if documentation does not allow granting of credit within provided guidelines.
Maintains on-line credit application status system, including maintenance of credit application files.
Re-clears existing customer's applications to allow for extension of additional credit or to update customer data after a lengthy period of non-activity.

Environmental Job Requirements
. Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not
objectionable.
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be eighteen years of age or older
Must pass the Drug Test
Must pass the Background Check
Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable
Education Required - The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.

Physical Job Requirements - Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, business correspondence, and memos. Ability to write
business correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
